2025 - ‘26 Auditions!
Auditions for Danu Young Women’s Choir are NOW OPEN for the 2025-26 season. Please continue reading and sign up on the audition form to receive more info about this year’s auditions.
Danu (14/second year - 18/leaving cert) auditions happen during the summer in June, July, and August. They will take place at Colaiste Ailigh in Letterkenny, Donegal. If the dates do not work for you we will do our best to accommodate your needs. Please sign up using the form found on this page entitled Danu Auditions.
Auditions are simple and stress-free. Each singer will prepare one song of their choosing and demonstrate some basic vocal skills. Once you sign up for your audition you will be sent all relevant material and asked to confirm your spot in the choir. You will then be reminded one week before your audition.
Please be aware that rehearsals are every Sunday afternoon/evening starting with a retreat in August and going through their spring concert in May. There are exceptions and holiday breaks. You will receive a full informational packet after signing up for auditions. Our 2025-26 season starts on August 29th, with a mandatory attendance choral retreat, one of our singer’s favorite events of the year.
